Let us start on how to get there. There are few transportation methods on how to reach there (From Malaysia). Here some useful information (probably) to you.
By Land:
Express Bus:
You can take any express bus from Major City to Singapore city. Please take not where your destination in Singapore since their Express Bus terminal not integrated like in Malaysia.

Train:
You can take a train from major city as well.

Domestic Bus:
You can take the domestic bus either from Larkin Terminal in Johor Bharu or at the JB Sentral. There is few bus company operates between JB city and Singapore City.
From Larkin Terminal there are three bus operator:
1) SBS (white + Purple color) = Stop at MRT station such as Keranji or Woodland. You can use Easy Link Card

2) SJE (white + red) = Stop at Queen Street bus terminal. Pay Cash
3) Causeway link (white + yellow smile). Cash. Stop at Queen Street.

However, from JB Sentral, there is probably only one or two.
1) SMRT (white + red) = Stop at Woodland central (attached with Woodland MRT)

Taxi / unlicensed taxi:
You can taxi from few ports:
This is taxi usually charging RM50 to Singapore and must stop in specified places. Then you need to take Singapore taxi to places that you wish to go.
1) Jb Central
2) Larkin
3) Senai Airport
4) Unlicensed can be taken at the Larkin parking area. – This taxi can bring you the exact place that you wish to go with minimal price.
Access Singapore from JB Sentral:
1) You can walk from JB Central or City Square towards CIQ. All are connected. It’s quite convenient to walk.
2) You can park in JB Central cost you daily maximum rate RM15.
3) After passing through Immigration at CIQ, you can take Regional Bus to any place in Singapore. Either take a bus to MRT station and travel by MRT or you can take any bus directly to any place you like to reach.
4) You can take express bus directly (Red Color Sentosa) if you wish to go to Sentosa Island or even to Changi Airport.
Access from Second Link:
There is few buses can be accessed from the second link.
1) Causeway link at Gelang Patah.
2) Other express bus from major town in Johore, Malacca or Major City in Malaysia

From Senai Airport, you can take few methods to Singapore.
1) Rent a car.
2) By Express bus to CIQ. Then refer back previous method how to enter Singapore from CIQ. Price about RM8 to CIQ.
3) By Airport taxi – Expensive
4) By Budget taxi- tips: Walk little bit towards Petronas and take taxi from there either to CIQ or directly to Singapore then take another method of transportation.

There are a few airlines that flying from Kuala Lumpur to Changi Airport. You also can fly from other International and Regional Airport.

After touching down at Changi, There are few ways to access to Singapore City. But my suggestion is to use the MRT. The easiest way to reach at any popular destinations.
Tips and info to travel by MRT:
1) MRT located at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. If you touch down at Terminal 1, you can take Skytrain to T2 or T3.
2) It is suggested and very convenient way to use EZ Link Card instead of using cash and buy one way card.

3) If you plan to Orchard here some simple way:
Changi – Interchange at Tanah Merah Stn – Take the train towards Joo Koon – interchange at City Hall Stn – take the train towards Jurong East and alight at Orchard or Somerset Stn. Both are at Orchard.
4) If you plan to Merlion:
Changi – Exchange at Tanah Merah Interchange – Take the train towards Joo Koon – alight at City Hall – from there you can take a bus or taxi or ask the MRT counter how to get there.
5) If you are travelling to Sentosa:
a) Changi – Exchange at Tanah Merah Interchange – Take the train towards Joo Koon – Exchange at Outram Park Interchange – Take train towards Habour Front – Alight at Harbour Front
b) Changi – Exchange at Tanah Merah Interchange – Take the train towards Joo Koon – Exchange at Paya Lebar Interchange – Take the train towards Harbour front – Alight at Harbour Front
p/s: Choice a is much more faster.
5) If you traveling to Marina Bay sands:
a) Changi – Exchange at Tanah Merah Interchange – Take the train towards Joo Koon – alight at Raffle City – Take a bus/taxi or you can go to Marina Bay Stn as well but you need to take a cab to Bay Sands.
b) Changi – Exchange at Tanah Merah Interchange – Take the train towards Joo Koon – Exchange at Paya Lebar Interchange – Take the train towards Marina Bay – Alight at Bayfront Stn – Walk to Bay Sands

Wow, i love to talk about this. Here in Singapore is like paradise for shoppaholics. There are many shopping places that can offer you a hundred or maybe thousand brand.
1) Orchard Street
2) Sentosa area / Vivo city
3) Marina Bay Sands
4) Woodlands point
5) Other area. May less popular, but they are a lot of them.
Orchard Road:
You either can disembark at Orchard Stn or Somerset Stn. Both are on Orchard Road. The Malls in Orchard road are:
1) Ion Orchard – The best Mall in Singapore
2) Paragon – Old but still okay
3) 313@Somerset – Attached to Somerset Stn
4) The Centre Point – Nearest at Somerset Stn
5) Takashimaya – Best ever department store at Singapore, located in front of Paragon

Sentosa Area / Vivo City:
1) Vivo city – The Largers Shopping Mall in Singapore, Attached with Harbour Front Stn
2) Festive Walks at Resort World – Access either by bus or Monorel from Harbour Front. The pedestrian will be charged SGD 1.
Marina Bay Sands:
This is one of the luxurious shopping malls in Singapore. Landmark is 3 buildings combine together to form a ship at the roof top. Fees will be charged to explore their roof top.

Changi Airport:
All items in Changi Airport (either outside or inside departure) are tax free. So, this is the time!!!
P/s: If you fly out from Singapore, you can claim your GST back about 6% out of the total 7 % GST.

There are 2 Hard rock brands in Singapore and few collections

2) Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa – Near USS, Sentosa
3) Hard Rock Cafe Singapore – Near Orchard – take Down pass at Ion Orchard toward Mandarin Hotel

Other info:
a) Food – A lot of Halal food – at least one shop lot in one mall
b) Mosque – Arab Street and Infront of Vivo city. The only mosque that i manage to explore
c) Accommodation – suggest to stay in JB – cheaper
